St. E Community Garden Network

  • Thank you for contributing your fresh produce on Sunday July 21. We collected about 60 pounds and had given to Care First. They have distributed to 20 families in need.  Our next collection date will be August 18.  We encourage you to support the families in need.

  • Mission Ministry will have Community Garden Network again this year. On the third Sunday of each month, we will collect fresh vegetables grown or purchased by church members and donate them to families in need in our community.

  • If you are willing to share your loving produce, please bring them to church on the following Sundays:

  • Please bring sun hats, sunscreen, water, a change of clothes and a towel for the walking trips. We may play at the splash pad if the weather is warm.

  • If your child does not attend our Sunday School on a regular basis, please bring him/her to the Sunday School room in person and check in with the teacher before dropping him/her off.

Cantonese Thursday Evening Bible Study – Aug & Sep Break

  • The Bible Study Group of the Cantonese Ministry will be taking a summer break for the months of August and September. You are invited to join our next meeting, which will be on Thursday October 10 at 7 pm. Rev Leung will be leading us to study the book of Ezekiel.  Please contact Margaret Loo for details.

  • This year Cantonese Faith Formation ministry has chosen to read the Chinese translated version of “The Dwelling of the Light: Praying with Icons of Christ” by Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury.  Cantonese Advent Book Study will be held 4 consecutive Thursdays from Nov 28 to Dec 19 from 7pm-8:30pm through Zoom. Details will be communicated later. As books need time to be shipped from oversees, orders to purchase need to placed in advance. If you are interested, please place your order with Margaret Loo or email rsvp@stechurch.com by July 21. Cost of book including shipping will come to approximately $15CAD each.

    • This year's Easter Food Drive, we have collected a total of 350.6 lbs of food, 138 lbs donated by our parishioners and 212.6 lbs by our neighbours. Same as last year, we have delivered all the collected food to the nearby Mississauga Fire Station #118 located at 1045 Bristol Road West for Food Bank Mississauga to collect last Sunday, Mar 24th.
