    • Our next annual vestry to be held in-person at St. Elizabeth's after Joint Morning Prayer service on THIS Sun. March 3, 2024.

    • The vestry name list of those parish members who are eligible to vote and be voted is posted on locked vestry webpage above.

    • Church members must meet with conditions stated in the Diocese Canon to be eligible to vote in Vestry Meeting. According to the Diocese Canon 14, voting members need to declare the following: "I solemnly declare that I have been a member of the Anglican Church of Canada and of this congregation for at least three (3) months, that I have attended regularly scheduled services of worship with this congregation at least three (3) times in the past year, that I am of the full age of sixteen (16) years and that I have not voted as a member of any other vestry during the previous three (3) months, nor do I intend to vote in any other vestry during the ensuing year".   5. Easter Food Drive

    • Let us pray to our Lord to help our neighbours through this year's Easter Food Drive. From Mar 10 to 24, please donate non-expired and non-perishable food for Mississauga Food Bank by bringing the food to St. E (Peanut butter, cooking oil, pasta sauce, fruit Juice boxes, canned beans, canned meat, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soup, canned stew, flour, pasta, rice, cereal, Kraft dinner).

    • o  In the meantime, we shall continue reaching out to the community for their help to our society through our “Neighbours Help Neighbours” program. On Mar 17, we shall deliver brown bags to a selected nearby neighbourhood and collect the donated food on March 24.  For those who are interested in helping out delivering and picking up the brown bags, don't hesitate to get in touch with info@stechurch.com

  6. Condolences

    • Our dear parishioner Alfred Chiu, father of Amy, peacefully departed at Markham Stouffville Hospital, embraced by his beloved family, on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the age of 74. May the peace of our Lord be with Alfred and his family at this difficult time. Please keep them in your prayers.

    • Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, located at 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Following the visitation, a memorial chapel service will commence at 3:00 p.m.

    • To honour his memory and celebrate his life, a reception dinner will be held at Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine, at 3015 Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5L 2V8, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

    • Donations in loving memory may be made to St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church, All Saints’ Anglican Church or Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.

  11. Cantonese Bible Study Group

    • There will be NO Cantonese Bible Study Group from February to March this year so that parishioners can concentrate on participating in spiritual activities during Lent. The next meeting of the Cantonese Bible Study Group will be held on Thursday, April 11 this year at 7pm

  12. English Ministry Book Study

    • Starting from March 13, Rev. Leung will lead a Wednesday night book study on “Introducing the Christian Faith” by Arthur Michael Ramsey. We will be using the same zoom link as the Wednesday night Prayer Meeting. The book study will take place twice a month with follow-up discussions on a WhatsApp Chat group.

    • Please contact Yvonne Zheng to obtain your own copy of the book. Those who would like to read the book on their own are welcome to join the chat group as well.
